She's mentioned on wikipedia's entry for "Waterfalls" I assume she was the "mom" to the kid killed by a drug deal in the video? It was a small but great performance.

Yes that's her, the mom carrying the groceries down the street and trying to save her son from the streets. Yep. The lyrics about her where" lonely mother gazing out of the window staring at her son that she just can't touch. If there's any time he's in the gutter she'll be by his side, but he doesn't realize he hurts her so much"
