for me it is considering the cast and budget which makes it even more worse as they had all that money to make something good

I can think of many films that are worse than this. However, I agree it is very bad. Then again, the extremely overrated Night Shymalan directed, who I am no fan of. I liked the 6th Sense, but that is it. On the flip side, Gary Whitta wrote this (with Shymalan), also wrote and directed "Book of Eli" with his brother. That is a much better film, which has a stunning soundtrack as well. It cost less than half of this film. While having a silly plot, it has everyone speaking with
a silly southern accent. Skip it. It is a loser by far. If you want to watch an apocalyptic film (of which there are dozens out there), watch "Oblivion", Elysium" or even "Serenitu", which is based on the fabulous much loved cult series, "Firefly". They only had $30 mil (that is almost nothing, nowadays) to film it, and did so.

This movie was indeed terrible. From the start to the end. There might have been a couple of "okay" moments in between.
Nothing makes any sense in the movie. It's cliche, the cgi is bad the whole story I mean what story?
When I looked at the score I thought it can't be that bad right? It has Will Smith in it! No - it's really that bad. The kid actor is awful and that's what you'll see most of the movie.
I'm not even going to waste any more time. It's just bad.

          I agree.
It is a very boring movie, no plot, nothing.
I like that Will is with this son in the same movie though - but movie itself - awful.

Manos: The Hands of Fate is much, much worse.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
