I first watched this movie when I was 13 years (in about 1989) and it was really scary, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I tend to watch it once in a while maybe a couple of times a year and have shown it to various family and friends. I wish I could say that the current horror films being made these days are half as good but I always end up being disappointed. The director did a fantastic job. The movie is very well done. Hopefully he'll continue making films. I hope to never see another director attempt a remake.

5.5 rating doesn't it do it justice. At least a 5.9 or 6.0 rating.

Most 80's low budget horror movies were the best!

This movie is greatness, made my wife have a fear of scarecrows since it came out.

Scarecrows has a terrific October atmosphere.

Love the spooky ooga-booga gloom-doom atmosphere and the scarecrows are creepy as all ****. 8 out of 10 from me.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
