    The Thing That Couldn't Die
(1958) will be on Svengoolie tonight. Never seen it before, but I will DVR it and give it a look.

I forgot Sven was on tonight! I've had the X-Files on. Are you watching this now? Is it any good?

I'm on the West coast… it won't start for me for a couple hours.

A dismal 4.2 on IMDb. Good luck!

I thought it was hilarious, but I'm not sure that was the intention.

Ahh, it was one of those, then!
The trailer primarily focused on women screaming. Did you notice how they all seemed to have a universal scream back then?
When I was in middle school, we were reading parts for a program we were going to put on for the parents. It was a mystery play. I got the part of the girl in distress for one reason. I was the only one willing to actually belt out a scream on stage. The other girls felt too self-conscious to scream. I hated getting the part
              just
              because I was the
              only one
willing to scream. What a silly reason to give someone the part in the play! I totally was not right for the part.

I DVR'd it… Haven't seen it yet, but judging by the trailer it looks like it's cheesy enough to make enchiladas with. FWIW this one got the MST3K treatment, which might be a better way to view it. You can find several uploads of the full MST version on YouTube.

Yes, I saw that. Looks like I'm in for some cheesy fun, lol.

Just finished watching it. Not "great," but in all fairness it was better than I expected. And not so cheesy after all. The Svengoolie treatment was pretty good, too (provided you can stand him padding a relatively short film (69 minutes long) with many, many minutes of interruptions to fill up a 2-1/2 hour time slot).
