Netflix under tax fraud investigation as offices in France and Netherlands raided
Investigators searched the offices of U.S. streaming giant Netflix (NFLX.O) in France and the Netherlands on Tuesday as part of a preliminary investigation into tax fraud laundering, a French judicial source said.
Investigators specialising in financial crime and corruption raided the company's offices in central Paris on Tuesday morning. Dutch authorities were simultaneously searching the company's European headquarters in Amsterdam.

Are they hoping to find bags of money or buried treasure?
Forensic accounting would not need to access their offices but merely track all of their income and outgoings to see that they pay the proper ta on it.
I'm sure there is more to it all but the best I can see as hinted at by Reuters is the third part producers which all central publishers work with in their process of creating entertainment.
I'd guess that the creator of Emily in Paris hasn't offered any of the chicken so well known from his home city to locals in the bureaucracy in France and they are taking it out on him

I read the article fine Tara. Nothing was released as to what they were looking for and, in France at least, no criminal charges necessarily come from such a raid.
If you didn't like my chicken Maryland theory (I tailored it for you from our earlier conversation) you'd hate my Lidl buying Emily in Paris trinkets from China one

There's no such thing as too much saké Tara
It does make you sleepy though, so I suppose too much is when you can't drink it anymore because you are sleeping
