It's on BBC1 this evening
It was on in the background whilst I was getting ready for bed, then all of a sudden heard his distinctive Southern American accent, I looked round and fell off my chair when I saw him! Hahaand he's playing a priest too (Buffy > Caleb)!!
It's not the best of moviesplus there's a lot of shameless advertising for the company Virginbut found there's several other recognisable names from U.S TV and a young looking Gerard Butler.

I'm laughing real hard at the "South American" accent comment. I didn't know Canucks sounded like we were from Chile/Paraguay/Peru/et-al..? Too funny.
WRT to the topic, I was pretty surprised it was Fillion as well. Snuck right by me.

Just because he's from Canada doesn't mean he can't produce a Southern American dialect. We've heard it on Buffy. Although, I will say I heard no trace of one in this movie.

case in point: Mal Reynolds from Firefly/Serenity - doesnae sound particularly Canadian to me

And yus lol, I knew he was in it somewhere, but totally forgot before I started watching lol. I almost didn't recognise him, but I heard that voice and KNEW! Reverend chic!! LOL. Love him. In anything lol.

I didn't recognize him either. I just thought the priest was cute and looked familiar. Didn't realize until I saw the cast list.
He looks better here than in Firefly not that he looks bad in Firefly.

i did recognize him right off, but then his charater just seems to diaappear. Half expected him to show up in the Seminary scene, but nope, just gone.

I was very surprised to see him play a priest several years before he was Caleb on Buffy.
