Very cool, but it still doesn't hit me with the unimaginable vastness of space that I see in my mind's eye. Also this Universe of ours may be only one of a trillion other Universes that we're not even aware of. And that trillion may be only a tiny fraction of even more Universes that are infinite and eternal. It's the greatest mystery we'll ever contemplate.

Or maybe not. Is the universe
                  infinite or finite,
                  and explain.

I'm going for infinite, without an explanation. 😄

How can it be infinite? How can anything go on forever? Isn't there an edge somewhere?

If there's an edge, what's after that? An edge has to have something beyond it or it's not an edge. I have no idea really, but I sure love thinking about it.

I'm glad you asked that question. In his amazing book
                          A Brief History of Time
, Stephen Hawking postulated that space is
                          both infinite AND finite,
                          that it is actually,
                          curved.
But please don't ask me to explain that.

What Stephen Hawking said - That's how I imagine space in my mind's eye. Also, the most infinitely immense thing you can imagine space to be might also be infinitesimally small in the grand scheme of things.

Yes and it just keeps going. To think only a few year ago nasa thought only our solar system existed lol
I still remember the announcement and was convinced they were gonna tell us they found aliens on mars or some ****, but no. They were like ermahgerd there's more planets outside our system. Like, no **** there's more planets, dumbasses. I was so disappointed with that reveal.

I'm assuming the telescope takes hundreds of pics and merges them all together to get the clearest picture possible. It rotates with the earth too, I think.
He has hundreds of pictures that are amazing quality in comparison to the ones I showed here.
I can't wait to see what we capture 😁
