They are ****ing awful. You can't easily alter the volume and there is no visible progress bar to choose where you want to watch. They just made their videos ****tier. So pointless.

I hate them.
I pay for YT premium and use it to listen to podcasts or longer videos. The app is so sensitive, if you move your finger the wrong way it switches videos way too easily to these idiotic short clips of **** I don’t and never will care about.
Stop.
