Sorry, but I'm stuck on the actual subject I was discussing before I was quoted in this thread.
But in that case - if men don't need to care about the women they ****, why should women care about a stranger's mental health?

Most men care about all women. If you are out in a bar and a man hits you, it will be an army of men who are strangers who step in to kick that man's ass. Men have a natural instinct to protect women. Fucking, however, should not be mistaken for a sign of deeper feelings. The man may care about you as a person but it doesn't mean he cares about you as a love interest. A man will **** anything. It is just ****ing.

Some dudes seem to have this "very special boy" syndrome where they think women they don't even know should care about their well-being just because they jerked off to them
If the connection exists in their feeble male mind, then it must be real. They can't fathom being unimportant to someone.
It's like expecting Jeff Bezos to care that Amazon enables shopping addicts. -

Exactly. Strangers are your fellow man. You are supposed to have compassion for everyone, even if you don't know them. This isn't something anyone should have to be told. It should just be instinctual.
