In other words, what I'm asking, is can you have great sex and not be in love with your partner? I can "make love" to someone I don't even like or don't even know if they're hot enough.
I suspect men and women will answer this differently.

I feel like great sex comes from a place of love. If you aren't in love with who you're experiencing the intimacy of a sexual nature with then there won't be any great sex. You don't even really have to know someone to love them completely. It's just like you see them and you are attracted to them physically and both of you decide to create art in the form of coitus and it's magical. Really magical. That's where the love comes from, man.
