I have never conformed to gender norms -was a tomboy kid but then a girly, boy crazy teenager. So i don't think I'd be that devastated if i woke up as a male version of myself, i probably wouldn't get a sex change -not because I'm morally against it but surgery scares me and it wouldn't bother me terribly. I'd be able to open jars
But i don't think the transitioning aspect is stupid. It's really important for some people

Even if I felt like a woman, I still wouldn't.
I wouldn't want to deal with the stigma. Plus, I'm against anything permanent. Anti-suicide, anti-trans.

No, I wouldn’t, but I’m also not going to criticize those who choose to get their genitals mutilated. A lot of transgenders tend to suffer from a lot of insecurities with their own bodies, with the best way to describe it being that their biological gender doesn’t quite match up to how see themselves mentally.
I also wouldn’t try to live up to societal standards. Why should others dictate how men and women need to act? People should be more accepting towards transgenders, as opposed to giving them a negative attitude. Degrading them is what can cause Body Dysmorphic Disorder and depression.
