I made a topic on here in the past, about marital rape laws, and that I didn't think they should exist, because it's not the government's business to police what transpires in the bed of a married couple, and you guys lambasted me. Probably because you guys had a knee jerk reaction and imagined a man raping a woman.
Let me ask you a question…
Suppose a couple has been married for 60 years. Unfortunately, the husband develops dementia. The husband and wife decide to continue living in their house together. Now, the husband, legally speaking, can no longer consent to sexual intercourse, because he is not a mentally-competent adult.
Do you think the husband and wife should develop some sort of platonic relationship with no sexual activity? Or do you think… that it's none of our business?
