Russian soldiers have been seen looting grocery stores and banks in several Ukrainian cities. Security camera footage posted on social media showed Russian soldiers grabbing food and trying to steal a safe. Ukrainian officials say that invading Russian soldiers are running out of fuel and were sent into Ukraine with only three days of rations, although that could not be independently verified.
The town of Trostianets has suffered the most in Sumy region. There, the enemy’s looting goes into overdrive. Russian soldiers are hungry. They are not only looting grocery stores, but are already penetrating into people's homes. It often happens that they come to houses and take inhabitants out, depriving them of food and clothes," Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyi posted on Facebook, summing up the situation on March 1.
He added that Russian soldiers robbed a second-hand shop to change into civilian clothes. "We suspect that they want to return to their homeland in such a way," Zhyvytskyi said. -

According to this video, Russian soldiers were given food (MREs) that expired in 2015.
This person translated some of it:
Russian speaker here:
He's saying how the generals are so stupid to feed the soldiers with expired food. He's saying you (the soldiers) are dying in Ukraine for nothing and being fed this ****. He's telling the mothers of Russian soldiers to stop their sons from going into Ukraine since it's bad enough they're already rotting on Ukrainian soil, but they're also ****ting themselves (literally) because of the expired food. -

Was it the combination of my username and avatar that reminded you? You probably have until the end of March to get one.
According to various reports, the soldiers (at least some of them) were sent there under false pretenses.
