That really is exciting news! Adaptations of King's stories have always veered between brilliant or disastrous so I hope they get it right this time. It's such a riveting story.

      I love that book.
Everyone brings up The Hunger Games whenever I bring this book up.
All I know is that I read The Long Walk way before The Hunger Games.
I have never seen The Hunger Games

I've watched and read The Hunger Games, but I read The Long Walk many years before those. The Hunger Games started off well but deteriorated into silly romances. King's story is just plain brutal.

I agree about King's story. In my opinion, it was brutal, not to mention tense and terrifying.

I really do hope that the story is played out well on screen.
I see that Mark Hammel is in it.
I have a pretty good idea of who he might be..

I've got that story in a book with two more Bachman tales. Time for a re-read!

Beetlejuice. I'm not that excited for it though just more than Joker.

I’m not particularly excited about either although I’ll probably see both if they are solidly-reviewed. I guess Beetlejuice, if I had to choose.
