Most of the more intellectual people I know think of the newer Fast & Furious movies as the best modern superhero films anyway.

First, This is a SpiderMAN movie? NO. This makes Batman & Robin by Schumacher a great film like Nolan's Dark Knight.

that's because it's not a Spider-Man movie. The main character isn't supposed to be Spider Man. He's supposed to be Iron Man Jr.

It seems as if with growth and advancement of financial resources and technology, the action hero movies become less and less interesting, in the same ration and proportion.
Modern movies end up being unwatchable piece of crap, waste of time really, rehashed ideas and already seen stories, told for billions of time over and over again in different background settings.
