-This film is set in the 80s.
-Joker is already a middle-aged man while Bruce is a small child. By the time Bruce becomes Batman and it moves to present day, Joker will be in his 70s.
What if there's a twist at the end where Arthur Fleck dies, and his existence gives inspiration to someone else, a kid or a teen, to eventually become the Joker…
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane
By those who could not hear the music.

This actually sounds pretty awesome. Prepare to have your mind blown yet again: What if the one who kills the Joker, is the one who becomes the actual Joker?

My mind is boggling! Those theories have an actual ring of truth.

That sounds plausible because in the movie, Joker spawned a bunch of a copycats who dress up as clowns and kill people.
And Joker never had an alias. The idea they'd randomly call him "Arthur Fleck" sounds unusual to me. Even Batman fans were pissed in 89 when they gave him the Jack Napier alias.
What if there's a kid at the end who resembles a young Heath Ledger, and he has the Glasgow smile scars, and it's implied that he will become the Joker…sort of loosely tying it in with the Dark Knight.
Love is like a tree: it grows by itself, roots itself deeply in our being, and continues to flourish over a heart in ruin.

Perhaps it's just a standalone elseworld story and nothing more will come of it afterwards.
That would be nice, don't you think?
