I don't care if this movie officially takes place after DOFP.

To ME ME ME ME ME, in my own mind, this is a separate universe. I refuse to believe that the happy ending we saw ended up with this sad future that really, quite frankly, isn't much better than the sentinel future (for mutants).
You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance. -

well, time travel movies for the most part make it a theme of that you can try to change the future, even take different paths but at the end of the day all roads still lead to home, you know?
It's mercy, compassion and forgiveness I lack. Not rationality -

The only way X-23 will be a big character going forward with X-Force is if they hook up with Cable so I'm pretty sure things will be undone erased screwed with etc even further. Besides we need to know in this movie just how bad things really are, etc, what caused it and so on
So yeah, that's how I feel anyways

Actually I've got to give to Fox on this one. They have been treating continuity with utter disregard, kind of like if motherslers were actually time traveling.
I , for one, think it's brilliant.
Now they have license to make an R Rated Old Man Logan with fing James Mangold that doesn't actually ignore deadpool.
