I hope it has a bio text field for each user so you can put an advisory in yours, advising people not to talk to GeekyBriggs (and me) because you somehow lost some of your sanity in doing so. chuckles

I always feel as much imposed upon by the people who say things like, "Haters gonna hate" because what they're really saying is, "The internet has lowered our standards right down into the mud, now get over it and accept this hideous behavior even though it's coming from people who know enough not to pull that sht."
I'm a big fan of not lowering our standards to put up with garbagebecause no one should have to eat garbageand instead demanding from the "haters" and "trolls" that they realise what's so repulsive about them.Because supporting your thesis is tough, but throwing adjectives is easy. -

Too late, just look at the garbage we're fed daily from a certain city by the East Coast a little South of Philly and north of Richmond. Angry, stupid, ignorant, hate is what has become the new normal.
I still don't buy that IMDB is doing away with the message boards because of the bile some posters spew there. The good far outweighs the bad, at least in my experience thus far.
A lot of posters put such depth of thought and intelligence and reasoning into their posts; it gives me hope for humanity when they do so respectfully and with great courtesy toward one another. -

Yes, sadly. And this is what I'm arguing against. I'm hoping more people will speak out against people who post angry, stupid, hateful ignorance. It wasn't necessary one or three generations ago, it's not necessary today.
Good post, Cotton-mouth. If only people would speak upBecause supporting your thesis is tough, but throwing adjectives is easy. -

Actually, YouTube has been ghost banning people for at least 2-3 years now.
Something IMDb would've started on this board, if they weren't already shutting it down.

Hate-watching says more about the viewer than it does about the show. -

YouTube comments
People have to View in order to post, even when they're posting kiddy crap. More views, more money. Google is extremely unlikely to shut that down.Because supporting your thesis is tough, but throwing adjectives is easy. -

No.
It's because there's very few people roaming these message boards compared to the people on IMDB's social media. IMDB didn't want to spend unessceary money hosting the message boards for a small amount of people. That's it.
Someone in the crowd will be the one you need to know
