The Dark Knight is not only the greatest comic book film, it's probably one of the best films of the last 15-20 years

1)The Dark Knight - I'm an open minded person, but if this film isn't first on your list I don't care about your opinion.
2) Batman Begins
3) Unbreakable
4) Dark Knight Rises
5) Guardians of the Galaxy
6) Captain America Winter Solider
7) X-Men DOFP
7) Kick-Ass
Avengers
9) Watchmen
10) Blade Trinity
If we're counting V for Ven, squeeze it in my top 3.
If Hellboy in your top 10. Smfh -

For me its
- Ang Lee's Hulk
- The Dark Knight
- Batman Begins
- The Incredibles
- Watchmen
- V for Vendetta
- Spider-man (mostly for nostalgic reasons)
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Unbreakable
- X-men (same as 7)
I'm really not a fan of The Avengers and the other films marvel has put out (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America) save for Guardians of the Galaxy. And I think Ang Lee's Hulk is just massively underrated. The top 6 are nearly interchangeable in terms of quality for me, just great films all around let alone superhero films.

I love comic books and graphic novels.
As for the movies, I love just as much, even when they aren't as faithful.
1)The entire Dark Knight Trilogy (call me a cheater, but I can never make up my mind which of the three is best, personal preference.)
2) Man of Steel
3) Watchmen
4) X-Men Days of Future Past Regular, and the Rogue Cut
5) Captain America: Winter Soldier
6) Batman Returns
7) Superman 2
V for Vendetta
9) X-Men 2
10) Spiderman 2
11) Iron Man
12) Blade 2 -

Avengers 2 was an all around better movie than Avengers 1 which is not a great movie but an okay one. Dawn of Justice is not on your top 10. The amazing Spiderman reboot franchise are some of the worst marvel movies of all time, closely following The embarrassing Captain America movies from the 1900s. You got Watchmen correct in your top 10. That is about all I can agree on. You could definitely use all 3 of the Nolan Batman movies. Also what is the deal with a 3/10 for Man of Steel? That is the best Superman movie ever made and way better than all the ridiculous Christopher Reeves embarrassments.
Although it seems like we both watch Kevin Smith movies, but you watched his later works which in my opinion are tremendously inferior to his old classics. Tusk is a scarring and sickening movie that I wish I had not even read the plot for. That one movie has changed my opinion of Kevin Smith. He should definitely stick with comedy.
YOu want to know my Top 5 Hero Movies?- The Dark Knight
- Dark Knight Rises
- Man of Steel

Well, we couldn't be more opposite. But since you already said my opinion doesn't matter, I guess there's no point having a conversation with you.

Here are my top eight Superhero movies, in no particular order.
- Watchmen
- Sin City (and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For)
- The Spirit (2008, a masterpiece, quirky, stylish, funny, and grossly underrated)
- 300
- Dredd (2012)
- Kick Ass (and its sequels)
- Scott Pilgrim vs the World
- V for Vendetta
I selected these as the only live action movies based on English language graphic novels that I can strongly recommend. There are no doubt others that I haven't seen yet.
Note the absence of the common DC and Marvel characters, I can do without them!

Interesting list, Sam. I, too, like "The Spirit," it's just not one of my all time favorites.
Have you seen "The Scribbler," and if so, do you like it? It's a cool movie and very different in the superhero genre. Also based on a graphic novel like the films on your list
