Well it is a shame they're doing this, instead of spending the money on moderators.

Yeah, but many of the boards here are mostly dead anyway. It's rare that a board is still as active as this one after nearly a year since the movie was released.

If they just put an IP filter on the userbase that deleted EVERY account with an identical IP, that would have gone a LONG way to cleaning this place up without needing more manpower And they could have made it so only IMDB pro accounts had forum access $$$ per account would also be a proxy deterrent.
