Someone needs to warn Trixie about talking to strangers

Don't get me wrong, I like all the scenes of her with everyone else and all that, they're cute. But she just walks up to Amenidiel and he's all I'm Lucifer's brother and she just gives him a hug, never mind that mom, dad or Lucifer aren't there to actually confirm that to her. One of the these days some rando is gonna come up to her and be like yup, I'm totally Lucifer's second cousin, little girl, come into my white van, I have candy and puppies !

lolI just saw your name after reading your post. Quite the juxtaposition.

Anyway, I'm able to suspend my cynicism about the world long enough to think that this particular scene was pretty perfect. Brought a little tear to my eye. I also believe that it gave us another hint about Trixie being special. She seems to have an affinity for divinity, it's like she has a special radar or something. So I'm going with that.
On a more practical level, I don't think Trixie is the type to just randomly approach strangers. She's a pretty smart little girl. I think, considering he's visiting her mother in a hospital bed, it's not unreasonable in this case to assume he is who he says he is. He wouldn't use Lucifer's name if he didn't at least know him.

Did Ameidiel regain some of his strength or confidence after Trixie hugged him and told him hes good? Or is it only in comparison to another celestial being like Uriel that he was week?
Either way, he seemed more like himself when he was refusing to move than he has in a long time. -

Yeah, I've never felt that he lost all of his strength. Perhaps some of it or Uriel wouldn't have beaten him, although that was partly due to Uriel realizing he'd lost his other powers, his wings, etc., which weakens him overall. I do think he's super strong anyway, but it's an interesting theory that Trixie might have restored some of his strength by reminding him he's "good". Also, he was fighting for Chloe, a "good" person. Hard to say but interesting.

Maybe not his literally his strength then but - just something about him that he seemed more himself, maybe it's that he
projects
strength, like in Season one he had a type of presence and self assurance that he hasn't had since he fell. It could be that in fighting for Chloe he had a righteous cause but he seemed insecure in the beginning about his ability to keep anyone from moving her then there was a moment where he kind of nodded and got a look on his face like "I've got this". -

Yes! It felt heroic. Like Amenadiel was back! I've been waiting for this Amenadiel all season. Funny it took a little girl and her mom for him to finally show up.
ArghhI'm getting teary eyed. I swear, this show is doing something to me!

As in come into my car little girl I work with your mother, but I am really a psychopathic killer and I want to use you as bait to make your mum give me a lot of money, then kill her and maybe Lucifer too?
She would never fall for that one

Pretty sure it's a butterfly. There's a hummingbird on her jacket and a cat on her tee shirt.:) But I'm intrigued that three major characters have distinctive jewelry that they never remove. Lucifer's ring, Amenadiel's pendant (or whatever that is), and Chloe's necklace.

That's not how I saw this scene at all. Normally I would agree with you (that a child should be careful), but this was just harmless and cute.
Also, it was about time that Trixie met Amenadiel. They must have been about the last main characters who got to know each other.
If there is any failure, it's not Trixie's but one of the adults in her life. Why would they let the kid alone in the hospital, while her mother might be dying? Dan (as her father) for example should have at least organized someone to watch her.
