Why does Lauren German always look like she's been punched in both eyes and has eaten only lettuce for a month? Did I miss something? Is junkie chic back?

jesus that's rude. Why do people care so much about how she looks? Yes, I have read that she has dietary restrictions and a condition that means she has to avoid too much direct sunlight. Don't quote me I didn't see a direct quote from Lauren. People are allowed to be unwell or just look pale. There's nothing wrong with white skin. Stop being so superficial.

From this sculptor's viewpoint, Lauren is one of the fortunate few who has a nearly perfect face. Totally symmetrical, great bone structure, large eyes. Nose the perfect distance from mouth, etc. Hers is the idealized form we all learn to draw and sculpt in art class.
As for her skin, she has shared on social media that she has a skin condition that prevents her from getting sun exposure. You may have noticed she wears hats a lot when not on set.

To tell you the truth, I think that some people have a problem with Lauren because she pulls her hair way back and wears it in a pony tail for police work.
When she wears her hair casually straight down, it seems to go well with her full brows, that are a distinct trademark.

Actually a'perfect face' (with regard to symmetry) looks wrong so the previous guys is not as knowledgeable as he thinks unless he live in the world of 3Dmodelling (ZBrush and the like love perfect symmetry).
If her face symmetry was 'too close to perfect' then letting her hair down would break the symmetry.
She's not an unattractive woman - but who in this cliched show is really unattractive?
I struggle to find any tv show that has genuinely unattractive people in the cast. Most of this type of tv depicts the 'hollywood' norm of 'acceptable for tv'.
Lauren is pretty - and so are the rest of the cast.
Shows that go against the grain?
Hand of God? (though I think even the awesomeness that is Ron Perlman is beautiful).
                  Any others folks?

OMG. I did not say a "perfect face" I said a "nearly perfect face". And yes, I am knowledgeable. I'm a sculptor and have created large monuments and portraits of human beings based on years of study and apprenticeship. I'm basing this on the "idealized" version of the perfect face. Like the ones you see in comics. Lauren's face is symmetrical enough, and fits "the ideal" well enough that she could model for a comic book. Take a frikkin' art class from a qualified teacher before spouting off on a topic you know nothing about.

That's load of BS. No one has a perfect face as perfection in beauty is very relative.

What's that word in front of perfect? You stress the PERFECT, but that word in front of it. The fact that you omit the NEARLY shows your sad lack of intelligence and brazen stupidity. Before you call her a moron you should step back, because she, in fact, never said PERFECT. Look up nearly in the dictionary; that's that book full of words in alphabetical order. Here, I'll help you darlin'. NEARLY- 1. Almost. 2. Closely. 3. Approximately, well nigh.

A lack of comprehension clearly has led to the Trump phenomenon.
I did not lie. As has been pointed out several times now, I said "nearly perfect" and was referring to the artistic ideal. Reading comprehension, dude.
