Everyone was very funny and the story line was interesting. Love the line up of Lucifer's sex interests at the police station.
Glad to see Chloe and Lucifer falling in love. I like a nice romantic story.
Question:
Is it my imagination, or is Maze attracted to Detective Dan? I realize Maze was learning about her self-worth in the world, which is why she was happy to embrace the concept that she's "amazing". But I still think she's trying to make a connection with Dan on a romantic level. Anyone agree?
Another Question:
I'm still not getting what Charlotte is plotting. Why does she want Chloe to have a relationship with Lucifer if she's plotting for her and her two boys return back into Heaven? Is she assuming that it's God's plan for Chloe and Lucifer to become a couple and return to Heaven together, and Charlotte can join them in the return? -

"When Lucifer returns with a new episode in January 2017, Lucifer (Ellis) will find out the truth about Chloes (Lauren German) identity. The latter happens to be a miracle child, and Lucifers mother, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer), will use this information as leverage to get Lucifer to return to Hell.
While speaking with TV Line, co-showrunner Ildy Modrovich said that Charlottes plans to use Chloe will be explained in the first episode of Season 2B. We will definitely find out how she plans to use Chloe, right away. And since we know Mom will stop at nothing to get back her family, which includes Lucifer, shes going to use Lucifers feelings against him. Shes going to weaponize those feelings, putting the relationship between Lucifer and Chloe in major jeopardy, she said.
SoI wonder if this means that Charlotte's reward for returning Lucifer to hell is Charlotte being readmitted into Heaven? -

I would assume that for someone who is immortal a human lifespan is not that long. And if it is too long to wait, mum can help her along the path
So Lucifer falls in love with Chloe, she dies, goes to Heaven, Lucifer goes to Heaven to be with her taking Mum and Amenadiel - job done -

That would have been my guess for mum's master plan as well. But the entertainment reporter seemed to think that driving Lucifer to hell would present a reward for mum. But then Charlotte would be separated from one her sons, and she wants both boys to join her in Heaven.
That's why I think your theory makes more sense Mike. -

I don't think so. "Reporters" keep reprinting and quoting an obviously poorly written and mistaken article full of conjecture that used words like Hell when they meant Heaven (i.e. "Mom wants to go back to Hell"). It's nothing but speculation; nobody on the show has said anything about Mom wanting Lucifer to go back to Hell. In fact, all they talk about is how she wants the 3 of them to go back to Heaven.
I tend to think the only logical thing so far is what Mike said. But Mum could have something else up her sleeve.

I would tend to agree with you that Mum's plan is for everyone to be admitted into Heaven, but I wasn't sure if this reporter actually talked to someone involved in the production. -

Oh yeah! I'm glad you brought it up but I agree. I think Maze is interested in Dan. And I think they have amazing chemistry. Would love to see those two together. Would be REALLY funny, I'm sure. I mean, if he thought Chloe was tough! lol.

Just a small observation on my part, but I've noticed that actors, Kevin Alejandro (Dan) and Lesley-Ann Brandt (Maze) are particularly talented in kissing, which is a lost art form in film and television these days. Could be a rather romantic love connection.
And as you said, these two actors have a pretty good comedy chemistry as well when they play off of each other. -

Lesley-Ann kissed a lot when she was in Spartacus.
Kevin gave Mum a nice smack.
Kissing is what prime time is known for, since the 'standards and practices' allows for little else. Sounds like Trump and conservative revolution will be cracking down on TV. Ironic, since Trump is married to a former x rated model.
