Why can't they reboot Green Lantern?

They areit's called the Green Lantern Corps.
To be fair Spiderman is an easier concept to pitch than space police with powers coming from a ring which depends on the individual's will power, while simple it can quickly garner an eye roll.

Still a reboot, now while the film will be in 2020 (if it happens of course) doesn't mean he/they can't get rebooted within another film. They rebooted Spiderman in CW, they softly rebooted Hulk in avengers, if they wanted to they could reboot GL in JL, will it work? maybe, mabye not.

Good question. I guess because they spent so much money on the 2011 film and it did so poorly (worse reviews than SS or BVS) at the end, they didn't want to revisit it?

yeah I suppose, but again personally GL's origin is a more fantastical concept than the hulk's, so I'm not certain if it can get summerized in a montage sequence. However I wonder if they'll just say f- it, and throw audiences in without any background, origin, power exposition.
