The Dude as Darkseid? Hell yes if true!

Not only he has a terrible voice (check under RIPD, you could not understand a single word of him), but he was with MCU.
Don't get me wrong, Dude is an amazing actor, but Darkseid must have powerful, deep, scary voice. Bridges can not deliver on that.
Liam Neeson? Now that's the voice for Darkseid, especially after necessary modulations. -

This doesn't really bother me seeing that Darkseid will probably be a 15 foot CG character on film. That being said, we'll just hear Jeff's voice and a bit of his facial expression. The only problem I have is that hiring an A lister sometimes conflicts because of their busy schedule. But most likely, he won't need to do much, wouldn't even have to fly out to set. Just do some lines in an audio studio. Seeing that Darkseid is a character of Little dialogue, I think this could work.

Okay hear me out on this.
My favorite Darkseid moments are initially silly. Darkseid is sitting in a La-Z-Boy with his legs crossed with some witty remark.
And the reason I like those moments is because it looks silly and then you realize this is the God of Evil and he has chosen your favorite chair because he can do anything he wants and you can't stop him.
That's the Darkseid that I want for films. This menace who doesn't really understand concepts of bravery or cowardice because he has so much power that both mean nothing to him. He'll just show up in your house because "I can" and he gets to be sassy about it.
Hearing that Jeff Bridges could be Darkseid does open a bit for these kinds of confrontations, but I have to say that I don't expect a 67 year old man who isn't named Ron Perlman to sit in make-up prosthesis for four hours. So, if true, this'll probably be a CGI golem who fights Superman with his fists, which a lot of people are excited for and that's fine.
At least it sounds interesting and I'd like to see how it turns out. -
