And there is also a book called history that is based on facts and true events that has recollections of how many homosexual men and women these so-called righteous people raped, murdered, bullied, jailed and casted out all in the name of God for being homosexual so it doesnt surprise me that they would see sex as being worse than violence since they arent really good people like they claimed to be that was just the lie they hide behind when they were raping women to cleanse the devil out of them for having feelings for people of the same sex and if anything they were just the same as ISIS. The only difference was one hid behind a bible while the other is depicted as villains when it was both trying to control the world.
The fact there are so many churches are acknowledging this as wrong now and supporting same sex marriages shows outdated views like that have no place in modern society.

It also explicitly states the practice of Christmas trees is bad, but no one ever pays attention to that verse (Though the Charlie brown Christmas special did at least stop the tacky metal ones).
No point trying to show mercy to the stupid, they wouldn't know what to do with it anyway -

Ah, ignorance.
Actually, no, the Bible
doesn't
say that being gay is wrong. Beyond that it came out of a culture that had no understanding of orientation, but of acts and gender roles, you're relying on translations that follow the Medieval Inquisition demonization of gay sex. In all the annals of recorded history, including the quite-far-ranging recorded rabbinical law, no such sentence as that put forward in the modern reading took place prior to the Medieval Inquisition.
You're addressing passages about male temple prostitution without understanding.
No decent fiction caters to ignorance of that sort. How could it?
All roads lead to truth if you're willing to travel honestly. -

The OP isn't complaining about your imagined agendas. S/he is talking about LGBT stereotypes such as the tough lesbian tomboy. About a lack of diversity, in other words. You, on the other hand, feel threatened by any diversity at all and would like to erase LGBT people from the media landscape. That is the only agenda at play here, so please do us all a favor and stop projecting.

The Mon-El bit I could play off as grown ups playing, but it's not something you'd expect on a show like this. I'm more worried about the show suggesting every tomboy woman is automatically gay. With Arrow being too dark for kids (and Laurel being dead anyway), I was really rooting for Supergirl to be something I could enjoy with my little girls. Flash is great, but sadly Jesse Quick is only a recurring character.

You let your children watch the CW? No wonder your daughter is asking you those questions. Why would you let any child watch this channel is beyond me.

I'd welcome this as an opportunity to talk with my children about stereotypes and preconceptions. If you throw in a "if you were gay, there'd be nothing wrong with that, I'd still love you just as much", all the better. You can't get that message out early enough.

This.
Why not take it as an opportunity to talk to the kid about different people, and learn her views and answer her questions? Hiding from something won't make it go away.
