Am I the only one who can't stand Eva Green?

doctorc1970: "I'm in agreement with the OP. I just don't get it, looks or acting wise."
Me too.
Between Eva Green and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, I feel like
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
(2014) is loaded with actors that are being pushed hard but that I don't find exciting to watch.
Also, Mickey Rourke looks terrible and Ray Liotta doesn't look good.
And Jessica Alba is heavily reliant on her looks (which is no crime, as everybody has got to rely on something), and therefore it would have been better to film a sequel
without
a needless delay of years.
Starting with Eva Green, this is not an exciting cast, despite the famous names.
Calling disagreement hate is childish. -

I don't find her "THAT" attractive. That's not to say I'm not attracted to her at all. Oh and I fish at the upper 30%.
She's there at the lower end and I wouldn't turn her down but she doesn't really do it for me. -

One thing I will say is that all of her performances are pretty much EXACTLY THE SAME (and I include 'Penny Dreadful' in that). I enjoyed her performance in Casino Royale, but since then I've realised that that's the only kind of performance she can really do

I'm there with you OP. I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason I really just don't care for her. I feel like maybe I just kind of see her as the go-to actress when a movie needs a seductive villain and they can't get someone more well-known, like she's perpetually the second or cheaper choice. I could certainly be wrong about that but that's just how I see her.
