why does DC still try to produce just movies for superheroes everybody is tired of?
"Batman vs. Superman"usually a movie with this two characters would blow away the boxoffice -> if it's the 1990s.
Now the people want to get some fresh ideas, not always Batman, Superman, the Joker etc.
I do not wonder why a new and fresh character like "Deadpool" and the GOTG beat the old DC-characters.

The problem isn't the characters, the problem is the quality
If Zach Snyder didn't hate Superman, didn't want to turn Batman into Punisher-Lite, didn't believe that the only way to ask serious questions in a movie was through sophomoric exposition, and didn't try to cram so much crap into the movie (Justice League tie-ins and
      fighting Doomsday at the end
), the movie could have been pretty decent.

Exactly. The movies have no soul, no life, they're just comercials to sell cereal. How could a sophistocated, mature movie be made by people who are neither.

As I said in the title, my arguments are beside of the poor quality and the obvious plan to just gain money.
The character-choosing is exhausting in the DCU.

I totally agree with you regarding characters & quality. Your points are really well expressed but to be honest I think it comes down to Snyder; simply "If Snyder wasn't involved, the movie could have been pretty decent".
The guy makes slick looking movies and I like a lot of his design choices but as far as I've seen he just can't tell a story. Like at all. I have no problem with a lot of what he and his producer/wife SAY they're trying to do, the fact is though that THEY just don't appear capable of doing it.

Pretty much this. I quite enjoyed MoS and BvS, but I'm not blind to the problems and compared with what I thought we'd be getting I felt let down.

If DC can't get the big guns right, why the hell would their crappier lower level characters work? Suicide Squad is perfect proof. Take away Joker's ten minutes and Batman's two minutes and all these characters are shallow c-listers that are now laughing stocks with movie goers. Bring up "the boomerang guy" and watch people laugh.

I guarantee that it will be the WB that kills the "golden goose" mentioned and will be solely to blame when the superhero bubble bursts.
