For me it was 2002's Spider-Man, hence why I started the thread on a Spidey friendly board. I was (and still am) amazed at the awesomeness of that first Raimi film. Luckily the sequel was on par if not better. I was 12 at the time of the first release and it was easily my most fun visit to the movies at that point in my life.

Watching the Superman 2, on the Sunday night movie on NBC back in the mid 80s. Recorded it and watched it a lot as a kid.
In the theater, Batman 89. Loved it.

2007 was the first time I paid to see a superhero film in the theater and boy howdy I got three strikeouts with Spider-Man 3, Ghost Rider, and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. 2016 was disappointing but 2007 was beep torture.
Whatever you are, be a good one. -

The first comic films I watched were Batman 89, Batman Returns,Superman 78 and Superman 2. Of course that's cause they were the only comic book films we had when I was a kid. Except for the Captain America movie from 1990 which had Red Skull as an albino guy for most of the film for some stupid reason. As a kid I don't event think I knew the albino guy was Red Skull.
