If anything she seems more powerful and dangerous than her counterpart.

And that when she is in civilian clothing she will use the device HR brought from E-19 to appear normal and Cisco's metahuman cuffs on her wrists. Underneath she will always look like Killer Frost. It will be irreversible.
BUt first she will have to deal with all of her buried feelings.
I think the big twist is going to be that her powers come from when Zoom phased through her, and Barry's Flashpoint shenanigans had nothing to do with it at all. -

It was s02e19 "Back to normal". Although, I doubt that's how she got her powers. Events were slightly altered in this timeline. Caitlin got her powers the night of the particle accelerator explosion. Her powers were dormant until a few months prior. Even Cisco's powers were dormant for a lot of months after the explosion.

This was my theory as well, because even after Flashpoint the particle accelerator incident still happened and everyone was still affected by it. So in that way, it's really not Barry's fault.

That's my take on it as well. She is a meta, born a meta and when she stated she didn't have the gene, she was either lying or had done some mistake when testing herself.
