Edition. They were in some dire financial straits after the Wii U "failed" to perform the way it should have. They produced more Wii U's then there was a demand for them and now they've under-produced the NES Classic Edition and the Nintendo Switch, because they don't want another Wii U problem on their hands. Where they have too much product and not enough demand for them to make money on that said product.
