In Sara's defense the whole team is pretty crappy to be honest. They cause more disruptions to the timeline than the badguys do. It's getting to the point where Thawne's plan to mess with the timeline will actually be a better outcome than the goof ups of the Legends. Rip Hunter needs to come back NOW, because somebody needs to put a leash on these "Legends". Through their sheer incompetence the Legends are actually the REAL badguys here. Rip leaving and putting the fate of all time in the hands of this team is like giving a monkey a loaded rocket launcher. A rocket launcher that shoots nukes.

Rip was also a disaster and kept abandoning them. So him being back or not is not gonna change the screw ups, he was a lousy captain too just more organized, but not better or worse than Sara, that is all.
I insist Sara needs to co-lead with someone, glad they called her out on her personal agenda, a true leader thinks of the team not your own vendetta. Rip was also guilty of this but at least he had the excuse that Savage really needed to be stopped.
So go on. Kiss me. Kill me. Do something. -

Yes she is.
But who should it be otherwise?
Last season Mick was a wildcard. So him being the captain? We know he can fly the ship. But no.
He is good where he is. IMO we need Captain Hunter back.

Actually, I kind of like that idea, now that I think about it. In the other thread about "leadership," I made the case that whoever took command of the team had to have certain qualities; which Sara lacks in certain areas, and invariably so did Rip, though not strictly in the same way. Mick never struck me as the first choice as commander of this team, but I think it would actually be a really good way to develop his character beyond the two-dimensional thug-with-a-heart-of-gold they portray him as. They could easily use his "training" as Chronos as a starting point. He would arguably have a better perspective on what it means to travel through time, and engage people who are a threat to history, after spending an unspecified amount of time as a temporal bounty hunter. While they made it seem like it was all a very quick transition from when Snart left him, to when he started engaging them as Chronos, but by some account he may have been acting as Chronos for quite some time. Enough at least to have earned a reputation Rip was aware of. It would also stand to at least some reason the Time Masters might have "fixed" any perceived defects in his brain, that might have been responsible for his pyromania, or being a "borderline" sociopath. Though they may have wanted him to be ruthless as Chronos, they would still arguably need him to be somewhat predictable and under their control - for however much that conditioning was truly effective.
He's already fully committed to the cause, and relatively competent. While Snart may have been predominantly responsible for planning their "jobs," that doesn't mean Mick doesn't know how to think strategically. A good commander is as much an administrator who knows how to recognize the other resources he or she has, and utilizes them effectively to complete their objective. He would know where everyone's strengths lie, and how to exploit them in a particular situation; and he's tough enough to make the dispassionate decisions, even if they later weigh on him.
There'd be limits to his authority; unquestionably, he couldn't decide to plunder the riches of history and expect the rest of the team to go along with it, which would force him to stick to certain restrictions more related to their mission objective.
Nate would be a good first officer, in that he has an academic, and near encyclopedic knowledge of history (at least, prior to the early 21st century).
Besides, some of the best sci-fi captains have been bald.

She has really disappointed me so far this season, sadly.
Snart and her had good chemistry last season. So now she is kind of fading.
And that worked really good last season.
But you're right. She can't act. I would say she is a C actor. Or else she would not get movie deals. It's not JUST a few movie deals. She was okay in the horror flick. The pact.
