This doesn't change anything. Iron Man 3 still sucks.

That perfunctory one-shot changes absolutely nothing. Anyone who thinks that this one-shot have undone the damage that was done in Iron Man 3 is a spineless imbecile that will accept any kind of garbage that Marvel Cinematic Universe will throw at him. This pointless one-shot is like a cheery on top of a big mounting of sht. It doesn't make that sht look less awful and disgusting. Also, the man who wrote this pointless garbage (who also wrote Iron Man 3, and he's the one who came out with that "ingenious" twist) is clearly a complete hack that has never read a comic book. Mandarin was never a mythical warlord that lived for thousands of years. That idiot confused Mandarin with a Ra's Al Ghul. Mandarin is in his 40's according to canon, since he was born in 1920 and first appeared in 1964. He's a man and not the mythical entity. Another proof that Marvel Cinematic Universe hires complete hacks to write their scripts.

No confusion. The Mandarin kidnapped Tony in the first film. So why cant that Mandarin be a man in his 40s? Like how Ducard/Ra's Al Ghul was a man but he was still the demon's head in Batman Begins even though the League Of Shadows was still a mythical entity..
This one shot didnt even need to get made to reveal that "real" Mandarin exist, it was already hinted in
Iron Man 3
even in
Iron Man 2
when one of the Ten Rings member gave Vanko the passport/ticket but since people were bickering and fussing they gave them this one shot to shut them up.
