Speculaas and hagelslag he can find! It's the big speculaas cookie his mom always sent for Sinterklaas that he misses. Oh, and he misses beschuit to put muisjes (also recently unavailable) on, though I've found an Indian store that sells candied fennel seeds. Not quite the same, but it'll do.
He talks with his brothers once a month, so he keeps in touch with family there, but he does miss some of the distinctly Dutch food and treats. There is nothing like ginger balls here in the US. Pity, they go so well with cheese.
No, David. No one is happy in a poodle skirt and a sweater set.

Thank Lucifer! If I ever visit the States I won't feel homesick.
Wait, what? You guys don't have beschuit with muisjes?
You have to have beschuit met muisjes when a child is born, how else do you properly celebrate?
Maybe he can ask them to ship a container of Dutch foodstuffs to the States, I reckon he can make a good profit on selling it. -

I simply think it was a way for Lucifer to show Linda that he is really the devil.
If a man's face transforms right in front of you, that's proof of the supernatural and, therefore, the fact that Lucifer was telling the truth. I personally don't think the reason for his Devil face is important, but I know others disagree.
And here's another reason why I don't think the devil face is Lucifer's real face. Lucifer is someone who is extremely proud of his beauty. If the devil face was his real face, I think it would be a source of shame, and he wouldn't be going around showing it like he did with Jimmy Barnes, the fake street preacher, that girl who faked her own kidnapping, Malcolm, and I don't remember who else.
Besides, if Lucifer didn't look like Tom Ellis in heaven, you would think the mother would have said something when she saw him. They made it very clear that Tricia Helfer is not how the mom actually looks, so I don't see why they wouldn't have done the same with Lucifer. -

I just assumed it was a projection he used to scare people. But with this reveal today, it looked like he was really showing Linda himself.
Or possibly Linda is seeing the image of Lucifer that she expected to see in her darkest fantasies. -

I don't think that the actual physical appearance is "true", whether Ellis or demonic, or Bowie. I think that the "true face" he showed her was removing the human mask, and exposing her to his celestial presence, similar to the effect his wings had on the collector. The demonic aspect of it was to match her preconceptions of "the Devil", since that was the identity he was trying to prove.

Interesting take. Except I disagree that Tom Ellis's face is a "mask". What we see is his original, beautiful, Light Bringer face straight from Heaven (according to Joe Henderson). But the rest makes sense to me, that he shows what he himself believes would be the most frightening face of the devil, a reflection of his self-loathing. However, I also won't use the word demonic, because he truly is not a demon, he's an angel. But he could certainly appear to look like a demon to anyone not familiar with his archangel origins and that would fit nicely with human notions of a demonic devil stereotype (from tv, movies, and religious embellishments from the middle ages).

The shape of the face isn't the mask, the mask is the covering up (masking) of his divinity with a human aspect. If he showed her his angelic aspect, he might physically look just like Tom Ellis, but without the human mask he would also look divine, the way the collector could tell that Lucifer's wings were divine, and not just from a large swan.
That said, I also don't think the physical looks are directly transferable to the metaphysical realms, and the appearance of all metaphysical beings is a translation of sorts.

Amenadiel's travel to Hell in his own terms is completely different to Lucifer's banishment to Hell.
So I believe that's his Burned face after his fall to hell, included ofcourse in God's punishment.
His just using his power here in earth to transformed it to it's previous beautiful face. -

I see his dashing handsome form as his true angelic self, however he is a fallen angel that was made to be the devil. Since he feels vilified for all eternity I think he is equating his 'true self' as the devil. In reality his true self is exactly what we normally see. There are two sides to him but in his mind he is still the 'monster' so he sees that as his true self. If he still had his wings she could have showed those to Linda as his true self.
