The people of Marvel would be watching him 24/7 keeping an eye if he's doing a good job chances are; he would've just walked away like Edgar Wright did.

Zack Snyder is pretty much the reason why the DCEU sucks!

Thor would be his best fit. And they would definitely be better than the current trashy Thor films. Most definitely. And Thor is awesome in the Avengers movies but for some reason his movies just aren't good. Zack would definitely improve that, had he directed those movies.

Hm, I was thinking of the battle scenes more than anything. I've only seen the first Thor movie, it does seem true that even though the movies do ok, they are still the least popular MCU movies. (For some weird reason I just imagined him casting Gerard Butler as Odin, wonder how well a younger Odin have played against Hemsworth's Thor.) I do think other changes we would have seen might be a slightly less "boyscout" Cap, I must be one of the few people who actually liked The First Avenger when it came out, and was hoping, along with Superman's return in MOS (prior to actually seeing MOS, and I did like it, but still wanted more traditional heroism), we'd see a new age of classic, traditionally/undeconstructed heroic heroes onscreen.
If an Avengers movie had got made under Snyder, he probably would have brought much of a 90s sensibility to it, for better or worse, (I bet Crossbones would have been used better, and I could imagine him using more of the 90s badass characters like USAgent, etc), but again, hypothetically speaking, if he'd done such a divisive movie as MOS or BvS within the MCU, he wouldn't have been allowed yet another strike by being allowed to helm an Avengers movie.
As to Snyder in the MCU in general, I couldn't imagine him working well within such a tightly produced system, certainly not as just a single director and not a general overseer. I can't remember if when he did MOS he was already in charge of the entire DCEU but at that point, it was the first movie so it seems he wasn't yet under quite so much scrutiny from the studio people. I agree that he would have walked like Edgar Wright if put under too much pressure, but more to the point, if he probably wouldn't fit in well as just a cog in such a big machine in the first place.

Why do you say that even though the Thor movies are some of the worst MCU movies they are all better than any CBM that Snyder has ever directed
                  Thor RT 77%
                  Thor 2 RT 66%

Even though the RT scores are higher, the Thor films have been viewed as either mediocre or bad by even the MCU fans (me included). BVS, MOS, Watchmen and 300 have all been viewed as good by fans, especially Watchmen (with many calling it one of the best CBMs ever).

WRONG.Why do you have lie ?There is no reason to do that.
The mcu thor movies are really good and really like by fans on average more so then BVS,watchmen. The mcu thor movies are rated very good or really good by the audience just like,300,watchmen and MOS.
The only movie rated only good and not really good on RT is BVS.
The only movie that on average the audience like more then the thor movies was 300 but the critics rated the thor movies higher on average Then 300.
                      Here are the facts.
                      AUDIENCE RT scores.

In this instance, I was talking solely about internet discussion of the Thor movies. And in my Internet experience, whether it be Youtube comments, these boards, Reddit, forums, etc, the majority of people see these films (Thor movies) as disappointing and as weak entries in an otherwise stellar universe. I didn't mean to use my opinion as fact and I probably should have communicated a bit better as to what I was saying. Heck, for all I know, the Internet LOVES Thor 1 and 2 and I could be just looking in the wrong places. Sorry if I came across as viewing my opinion as fact. I didn't mean for that to happen. I have trouble communicating properly when talking about these movies.

Don't know why people think Snyder wouldn't have fared well if he was hired by Marvel.
Snyder lives or dies by the scripts he is given and he likely wouldn't have been the writer of whichever Marvel property he was hired to direct.
Also, Marvel likes to play things close to the chest and several filmmakers have obviously expressed disdain over that aspect. But Snyder can work well as a "Yes man", so I'm sure he would have thrived and been just fine. And in turn, Snyder would have given whichever MCU movie he was given a little bit of extra visual flare that even the best Marvel movies seemingly lack.
I think Thor movie with Snyder's style would have worked out great. Snyder would have given us good action and a good visual style while someone else would have provided a good script.
I could also see Snyder doing a Captain America movie considering he thrives doing Batman's down and dirty style.
How does it feel to be deconstructed?
