In Episode 1, I cringed so hard at the thought of including this character. I HATED those awful movies. And it just brought all those memories flooding back.
But now, I must admit, Ghost Rider is a pretty awesome addition. It's pathetically sad that a television show can do the character justice better than a movie with a full Hollywood budget.

The Ghost Rider movies were not made by Marvel Studios. Agents of Shield is part of that universe, so they HAD to get him right.

I too am surprised at how much I enjoy the character. Especially considering they went for the newest version of the character, and not Johnny Blaze.

Yeah, they were pretty lame, maybe Nick Cage was the wrong guy for the job, or, maybe he was the only guy they clould find, I don't really know what, & everyone likes to bash them any chance they get, but, if you're a true GR fan, theres' still some good scenes in both movies. They're not all completely terrible.

Gotta disagree there Bob! The first movie is actually the reason Ghost Rider is my favorite superhero. Howevever, Spirit of vengence is easily the worst movie ever made! After it was over, all I could think was "why? Why would they do this?" The question remains unanswered.
