Of the amazing supporting characters they had in both seasons.
Kingpin was amazing by himself. But then you add Punisher and Stick, and you've got a fantastic show.
Unfortunately, this show lacked that. The interesting character this show had was Cotton mouth, and we all saw where that went.
You cannot build a good show just around a good premise (black super hero). You also need a great counterweight to the hero as well as great supporting characters who audiences care about.
There was definitely something off about this series.

I really didn't like Kingpin in season 1. He felt like a mentally disturbed man-child.
But he wasn't as unjust-fully mentally deranged as Diamondback.
Best villain in the Netflix shows has been Kilgrave without a doubt.
Cotton Mouth was very likable as a bad guy also.

I loved Cottonmouth. I thought Mariah and Diamondback each had their moments but also missed the mark a bit at times (for me). Shades was interesting but then sort of got less interesting when Diamondback stepped up.
I liked some parts of this series and applaud it for being different, but it's not quite as good as the other three so far IMO.

Misty was more interesting to following than Foggy or JJ's best friend - I don't even remember her name. I agree those shows had better villains, but Misty and Pop were good - Mariah and Shades were okay. They kept making Cottonmouth do dumb things and Diamondback himself was good, but his motivation was awful, perhaps the worst motivation I've seen in the entire MCU, which already has dumb ones.
I never saved anything for the swim back.

I liked Misty a lot actually. Especially how they sort of get you interested in her before they reveal who she is.
Though I was sort of disappointed in the bit where she's injured and gets all weepy. Realistic I know but I was hoping for the "hero is tougher than nails" bit for her. Will be interesting to see if she gets a fake arm out of all this.

I am not a fan of Misty Knight. It was hard to believe that she had no clue Scarf was dirty. The actress did a good job, I just did not like the way the character was written.
She seemed slow to pick up on people around her but she's supposed to be some type of super observant detective.
                I love Shades.

                  You know, Hank in
                  Breaking Bad
went over a full year without realizing that his own brother-in-law was producing crystal meth. Misty not thinking Scarfe was dirty makes sense.

It's clear that, even when there are clues all over, she's in denial and deludes herself from thinking his mentor could be crooked. Notice how she mourns him badly, when she probably should wish for him to burn in hell, which means she really does love the guy and, i think, in her mind, she's staying with the memory of the good guy she knew.
