Seems like the writers had a splash of the moment idea to kill him off for no reason other than to bring another black women as a main character. Too bad this resulted in the show completely going off the cliff with a garbled story that was all over the place. The pacing was beep too. Who Evers bright idea this was, needs to be fired next season or at least get tips from the daredevil crew.

it wasn't all over the place, I was surprised they killed off the guy too but when you look at the shows theme, what it was about and what it tackled , it was more than just your typical super villain vs super hero. This had layers to it and was on point. Fights could have been a whole lot better that's for sure

Yeah, I realized I was watching this show for the actor that plays something something Ali. Now that he's gone, I couldn't give a damn. That actor deserves much better.
The rest suck and can go to hell for all I care. Ok, Alfre Woodward is good, have no idea why she's slumming in this crap.
