did that 'Centre' or Dinosaur Island thing seem somewhat like something out of H.P. Lovecraft? Not saying they totally ripped-off Cthulhu or that but it just reminded me a bit of it.

I could see that. It was making people insane whenever they learned the truth, wasn't it? That's right out of Lovecraft.
