A good idea, but it wasn't developed properly. A remake could use a better plot.

I don't want a remake of this film. I want a true adaptation of Alan Moore's work by a good director and writer who know how to capture the style, wit, and darkness of the comic books.

That's a bad thing to assume. Browse more of the threads, there's a good number of people who found Moore's comic a worse execution of the concept than the movie. It's one of the main things we still fight about on this board over 10 years later.

Absolutely! The film was beautiful to look at but the "plot" was on the level of a cheap video game from the 1980's.
Someday I would love to know what happened between Connery and Townsend to have Connery threaten to destroy Townsends' career.
