Maybe, just maybe, they should've made a Night Stalkers T.V series instead. Although I thought the Blade Series was pretty good, people are used to seeing Snipes as Blade and didn't even give it chance. For most people NO SNIPES = CRAP. I can't really blame them either when they cast someone like Sticky as Blade when they could've gotten someone like Michael Jai White instead. You know, a real actor who actually knows martial arts, not a rapper. I'm not saying Sticky didn't do a good job, it's just that the producers could've done better.
As I saw the series I thought about how cool Shen and Krista would've been as Night Stalkers. Not necessarily Hannibal and Abigail but other two characters. Maybe if they focused on that, with Blade making a cameo appearance here and there, it would've had better ratings. I can just imagine Kris Kristopherson forming the Night Stalkers. That would've been cool.
But, alas, the deed is done. Some people liked it. Some didn't. The least Spike, New Line and whoever else was involved on the proyect could do is give us a made for T.V movie were they tie up the loose ends. Better yet, make the movie so it can be a Blade: The Series finale and a Night Stalkers opening series movie, or whatever it's called, at the same time. Hey, that's pretty cool.

Night Stalkers might have been a good as a TV series. Wish I joined IMDb in 2006 when Blade was on the air. Seems like I wouldn't have been falsely accused or unjustly attacked just for what I put in my signature like I was on another site.
