Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Marvel/DC

    Otaku-sempai — 19 years ago(March 04, 2007 07:47 PM)

    Dan Didio moderated the
DC Universe: Super Heroes Go DVD
panel Saturday evening at WonderCon joined by panelists Bruce Timm and Gregory Noveck, Senior VP Creative Affairs of Warner Bros Animation. The discussion was mostly about the three direct to DVD projects
Superman: Doomsday; Justice League: New Frontier
    and
    Teen Titans: The Judas Project.
However, when asked "If these films are successful, could audiences possibly see the
    Justice League: Worlds Collide
project?" Bruce Timm responded, "That may happen anyway, and if it does it wont be under the same banner as these films. There will still be other DC animated projects coming out, in addition to these films.
Were talking about doing a second Teen Titans movie
, Worlds Collide, and possibly more. Were still figuring it all out."

Admittedly, Mr. Timm could have been referring to another possible "DC Universe" Titans movie andre-reading his statementthat may well be the case.

Maybe he was, and maybe he wasn't. That's not the impression I had from the Q&A.

Bruce Timm has barely anything to do with Teen Titans (he was Executive Producer for the first season) so I don't see why he would care to mention the 2003 cartoon.
I don't know; however, a possible second Teen Titans movie was mentioned immediately following his statement, "There will still be other DC animated projects coming out, in addition to these films," so it could be applicable to the projector not. It has already been said elsewhere that Warner Bros. Animation will consider more movies based on the animated series, depending on how
            Trouble in Tokyo
            performs for them.

Who cares how it performs? They should just make another one. Trouble in Tokyo came out on DVD over a month ago. Either make another one or make a few more seasons. These guys are really starting to piss me off.
