From the Tamagotchis, then social media (soon forbidden for youngsters), we end up with AI toys.
When those aren't appealing anymore, we just park the kids in front of the TV again.
And wonder why they become crazy adults.

That's why AI should be banned.- TV should be banned.
- Tamagotchis should be banned.
- Social Media should be banned.
- AI toys should be banned.
Do you see a pattern?
I don't feel like writing long explanations/novels right now.
But children (and adults too) should be taught to be responsible, instead of constantly bombarding them with prohibitions everywhere.
Every prohibition must be punished if it's circumvented.
Should the
'child police'
now launch investigations every time an AI toy or a minor is spotted with a smartphone?
And of course, age verification is necessary for online bans to be effective.
This means every adult has to register their ID to authenticate themselves for permitted use on every platform. This data will, of course, be treated confidentially…OF COURSE!
