          What about Heather O' Rourke in "Poltergeist"? I thought she was good.
          Or Linda Blair in "The Exorcist"? The demon scenes didn't do much for me, but I thought earlier in the film, Blair was very natural and appealing.

            Both of those child actor performances are indelible. And the kid Alex somebody who played Andy Barclay in the original Child’s Play - 88’ acted his little socks off in that one.

                After the first one she did, they got way too silly and self-parody. I think Bride Of Chucky was the fourth in the series.
