Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Lauren Bacall

In 1993 Lauren Bacall made a movie called "A Foreign Field". I looked on everyone's bio and it is not mentioned.
Along with Alec Guinness, Leo McKern, John Randolf, Geraldine Chaplin, Edward Herrmann and Jeanne Moreau, it was a nice movie about three WWII soldiers going to Normandy to find the graves of their buddies. Also Randolf and McKern are looking for a French girl they both had known back during the Normandy invasion. Lauren Bacall plays Lisa, an widow, who is looking for the grave of her brother. It has a surprise in the ending but it is a wonderful movie. I have it on VHS but it has never come out on DVD. It is not anywhere in IMDb but you can check out Wikipedia.

It is listed. Look again. She played Lisa. It was a movie episode under the program title Screen One.

You can watch on Netflix. Lauren Bacall was an excellent actress. Some of her best movies were with Humphrey Bogart.
