You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

Also, an obviously plastered Orson fumbling his way through a TV commercial for Paul Masson wine.

The wine commercial was hilarious. But Welles was still such a pro. He still knew his lines!

The wine commercial is hilarious. Especially when he comes to at the 56 second mark. I about died. Priceless.

That's cool. I like it when somebody offers an offbeat opinion or point of view. I never found OW attractive in the least, though he did have a marvellous voice.
I need to watch "Citizen Kane" again. I think the last time I watched it I was about the same age as when Welles made it!
I also need to see "Touch of Evil".

I don't know what it is, but he was just warm and cuddly looking to me…..

I can see that. The pic you posted of him is pleasant. I think probably my response was informed by his booming persona. He always seemed larger than life to me. Not in a bad way. He was certainly an impressive individual.

You don't hear such eloquence in temper tantrums anymore. Orson Welles was good with language.
But I think he was hilarious doing his drunken wine commercial. Even when drunk, Welles knew all his lines LOL.
