Great documentary on Orson Welles. You never know when Welles was lying, but it didn't matter. He was entertaining.

Good one. He had a way of covering up his lies. He'd say how he was trying to speak Italian and would make mistakes and such. If I didn't find some kind of concrete proof I sometimes doubted him. He said he met Hitler but who knows.
I've always liked watching him in an interview as opposed to his movies. I've seen most of them and outside of "Citizen Kane" I didn't really care for them. "The Stranger" is probably his most commercial but it's just an average decent movie.

I find Welles an enthralling actor and speaker.
I love listening to him speak, but am always aware that I'm probably being taken for a ride. So I just sit back and enjoy wherever he's taking me. He tells a story well but as long as I take it with a grain of salt I'm fine ha ha.
I like his takes on plays, movies, literature and celebrities. When he's discussing the many interpretations of HAMLET, DRACULA, or reflecting on the power of Judy Garland, Buster Keaton or James Cagney, I find him to be deeply intelligent and articulate.

Exactly - he can't bullshit about that!
