Typical privileged ignorance. She said that "people of colour" and "gays" should need to start fighting for women. As if white women (whom feminism is exclusively geared toward) aren't already the most privileged group in society. And then you come on here asking us if we have lives, or if we realize there are important things going on in the world. Well
DO YOU?
You stupidly and blindly support the feminist ideology and the silly notion that American women are somehow "unequal" beings in society, yet
YET
, millions of women in third world countries have zerocount 'emZERO rights whatsoever. If you privileged types would get the hell over yourselves long enough and get off the soap boxes, you'd stop thinking about yourselves long enough to fight for REAL causes and not ones like the non-existent wage gap.
Seriously, smh.
Your fugitive's name is Dr. Richard Kimble. Go get him. -

Are you lost in limbo somewhere
zeligtony
? Life must be very challenging and difficult for you, having a pea for a brain. What are the important things going on in the world, that you feel have been unaddressed? Equality for women in the west, that doesn't even exist, is not one of them. -

Clearly you're just a miserable bully that resorts to tactless insults because they fail to provide a decent, well rounded argument.
Well I guess I am just coming from the same tactless space that Arquette was, with her unfocused and self-absorbed comments. Like attracts like.

Only women do
not
have equality. They enjoy countless priviliges that men do not.
The right to decide whether or not they wish to be a parent, for example. They have abortion, adoption and even safe haven laws in most states. And yet if a man doesn't financially support the child after it's born, he goes to jail even in cases where he receives no visitation rights and often without the benefit of a DNA test to determine whether or not the child is actually his. There have even been cases where male statutory rape victims have been forced to pay child support. Almost everyone is willing to accept abortion when rape has been committed and yet we tolerate male rape victims being punished financially for 18 years? And yet feminists have the audacity to talk about victim-blaming?
Same with birth control. Obamacare mandates that employee health insurance covers female contraception and surgeries, including tubal ligation procedures. Yet vasectomies and other forms of male contraceptive are not covered.
Women are now allowed to serve in combat positions in the U.S. military and yet they are not required to sign up for the draft. Many will try to tell you that this is a non-issue because the draft isn't currently in effect, but men who do not register can be denied the right to vote, a driver's license and student loans and be automatically disqualified for government jobs.
Affirmative action and quotas mean that women can get a job or get into a university with less qualifications than a (white) man applying for the same position.
Men who are convicted of a crime serve, on average, a 63% longer sentence than women who are convicted of the same crime. Similarly, last year alone 33 male prisoners were executed in the United States, while only 15 female prisoners have been executed in the past 31 years.
Women have a right to live in the bodies they were born with, while male genitals are legally allowed to be mutilated in infancy.
Every college these days have a women's center or a women's studies program and yet there are no such programs or buildings for men.
There is a White House Council on Women and Girls, while no male counterpart exists.
Men who are accused of rape will suffer massive losses to their reputation, their personal relationships, their finances and, in some cases, their careers. And yet their is no punishment for the woman who ruined the man's life if these accusations turn out to be false.
Need I go on? -

Not at all. Once the IMDB boards shut down and I stopped being online as much, I went and touched grass and discovered that people are people. Some good, some bad, mostly ok. The guy who wrote that a decade ago was dealing with deep entitlement, a few decades of evangelical brainwashing, what I viewed at the time as failed relationships and a failed attempt at college, and massive addiction issues, among other things. I'm glad that I discovered these forums were archived somewhere and that I found this reminder of how far I've come.
I wish you the best!

Were these points not true?

That's nice, I think that's a real valuable sentiment to share with other
But cynics will always be sceptical about such things. Why don't you make an edit to it so that people can see that you are who you say you are and not just some freeloading troll looking to steal someone else's argument for their own ends
People can be like that you know
I've got an archive of how it was
before the edit for any naysayers
