Several years ago, Buscemi was attempting to co-produce and direct an adaptation of William Burroughs'
Junky
. For some time, it was even listed as "in production" on imdb, meaning that it was stuck in developmental hell a couple of years. Now it isn't even listed as in production. Has Buscemi since abandoned the project entirely, or is he still working behind the scenes to get funding for production?
