How did the meeting go? I was at the Manchester gig too. Fantastic stuff, really powerful. I wasn't expecting crunchy guitars and skull cracking bass so it was a nice surprise.
Victoria Warehouse was the right venue for the show. It was like a location from Escape From New York. -

It was brief but great to shake the hand of the man himself.
Victoria Warehouse was brilliant! The whole 'Escape' vibe as you entered with the orange line etc was a nice touch. There's been some bad press about it being too full and people not being able to enter the hall which is a shame but I was lucky to be at the front of the balcony so I had a great view.
I plan on writing an epic poem about this gorgeous pie. -

Damn, I'm jealous! I was at the JC gig at the Troxy a few hours ago (I cosplayed as Desolation Williams ie red combat pants but with a Snake zip-up tank top), awesome gig, if somewhat short, but I'm curious how you got a vip/meet and greet ticket. (Don't know if he met fans after the London gig, my mate who's also a big JC fan needed to leave as soon as the gig was over, but I would have paid extra to have upgraded my ticket, but if everyone could do that, he probably would have been mobbed) I bought my ticket from the venue about 6 months in advance and didn't see any vip tickets on sale on the Troxy website. Incidentally, I'll have to say a lot of the Lost Themes songs sound a lot better l111cive, particularly Wraith, I think he shortened it by a minute or two, which was a lot better. My tiny complaint about both Lost Themes is that some of the tracks do meander a bit but Vortex and Night were brilliant, I'm surprised they didn't play the video for Night as well (though maybe it would have been weird seeing Carpenter in the video and on stage at the same time). One more thing, much kudos to whoever edited the video montages for each song. (Did JC edit them himself?)

I bought my tickets for the Manchester gig months ago and didn't see a VIP option but a couple of weeks ag I was on his website and saw the option to upgrade to VIP. They were sold out for Manchester but there was still availability for Liverpool on the Friday so I went ahead and bought a ticket for that night too.
All of it sounded brilliant live. I too thought they would have displayed the video for Night but hey ho. The montages were very well done, in rhythm with the key changes etc.
My girlfriend, not a Carpenter fan, was dubious about coming along but she ended up having a great time and we watched They Live the next day. Couldn't convince her to watch Halloween though(!)
